With the first official day of summer behind us, and Wine Country’s busy season ahead of us, keeping track of all the delicious food and wine events can seem like a daunting task. Lucky for you we have found three events that are quintessentially Napa and Sonoma Valley. So feel free to eat, drink, and be merry this weekend!

The Napa Valley Farmer’s Market

  • Saturday June 25th

Take the morning to explore the fresh and seasonal produce from more than 40 local farmers. Browse stands of fragrant herbs, hearty meats, crisp vegetables, sweet fruits, vibrant flowers, tasty cheeses, and fresh bakery items… Just to name of few. This abundant market will no doubt have that special something that you have been craving all week. Be sure to check out the Chef Demonstration with Chef Alex Espinoza of Peju Provence from 11-11:30 am.

 Chef’s Table Series: Executive Chef Shane McAnelly of Chalkboard

  •  11am & 3pm- Only 10 seats available per seating
  •  Lambert Bridge Winery

This weekend plan an outing to Lambert Bridge Winery to enjoy a delicious and locally grown meal prepared by Chef Shane McAnelly of Chalkboard, a casual and contemporary restaurant located in Healdsburg. With only 10 seats available per seating, this intimate and pleasant dining experience will be unlike any other offered this weekend. Enjoy fresh seasonal ingredients paired with delicious Lambert Bridge wines. This event is $95 per person, $75 for members.

 Summer Solstice and Oyster Party

  • Merryvale Winery

There is no better way to kick off Summer 2016 than by heading to Merryvale Winery for their Summer Solstice and Oyster Party.  Enjoy raw and barbequed Hog Island oysters and sip on Merryvale Solstice Sparkling wine. It will be the perfect day to sit back, relax, listen to live music, and enjoy the afternoon’s festivities in downtown St. Helena.
